In the last several years we have seen an explosion of stem cell products on the market. One product that we find enhances results in regenerative medicine and has a wide variety of uses is the placental mesenchymal stem cell exosome concentrate aka “exosome therapy”.
Exosomes are small spherical membrane structures that are released from mesenchymal stem cells to circulate in the extracellular space. These spherical membranes are packages containing growth factor proteins and messenger RNA. By delivering these packages of informational and regulatory molecules, it is thought that the exosomes are the main vehicles by which stem cells communicate to each other and to the rest of the body.

When these exosomes are introduced into the targeted tissue, the messenger RNA and protein growth factors go to work in the recipient’s cellular environment, turning on the recipient’s native stem cells and other growth and repair systems in the recipient’s body.
