These terms apply to anyone who visits stemcellhawaii.org, the website of Hawaii Island Stem Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine in Pahoa, Hawaii. Anyone who uses the site agrees to follow them. Anyone who disagrees should stop using the site.
The terms cover the website only. Medical care at our clinic is governed by the consent forms, intake paperwork, and financial agreements you sign in person, along with Hawaii and federal law.
Educational Content Only
Our pages describe platelet-rich plasma, prolotherapy, prolozone, cell-based therapies, and other regenerative procedures in general terms. They are written to help you decide whether a conversation with our physician is worthwhile. Nothing on the site is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for an examination by a licensed clinician who knows your history. Do not stop a prescribed treatment or delay seeing a doctor because of something you read here.
Regulatory Status of Regenerative Treatments
Many therapies discussed on this site, including stem cell, exosome, and ozone-based procedures, have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat the conditions mentioned on our pages. Research on these approaches is ongoing, and the strength of the evidence differs from one condition to the next. During a consultation, your physician will go over the regulatory status, known risks, expected recovery, and conventional alternatives for any procedure you are considering.
Testimonials and Individual Results
Patient comments on this site describe one person’s experience. They are not typical outcomes, and they are not a promise that you will see the same improvement. Age, overall health, the severity of the condition, and how closely a patient follows aftercare instructions all affect results. We publish a patient’s words or photos only after receiving that patient’s written permission.
Records Review Does Not Make You a Patient
Browsing the site, filling out a form, or emailing us does not create a physician-patient relationship. The same applies to the free review of imaging and medical reports we offer to prospective patients. That review helps our physician decide whether an in-person evaluation is likely to be useful. It is not a diagnosis or a recommendation for a specific treatment. A treating relationship begins only after you complete an evaluation at the clinic and sign our patient intake and consent forms.
Emergencies
Messages sent through the website are read during business hours and are not monitored overnight or on weekends. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.
Fees and Payment
Current evaluation fees appear on our Appointments page, and you will receive a written treatment plan and cost estimate before any procedure. Prices may change without notice on the website, but the estimate you sign governs your care. Many regenerative procedures are not covered by health insurance, and patients are responsible for confirming coverage with their own carrier. Cancellation and rescheduling policies are explained when you book.
Acceptable Use
You may browse, read, and print pages for your own personal, noncommercial use. You may not:
- Copy or republish our content for commercial purposes
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to harvest pages or contact information
- Upload malware or attempt to access areas of the site you are not authorized to use
- Submit false information, pose as someone else, or send records belonging to another person without authority
- Use our contact channels to harass staff or send unsolicited advertising
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Text, photographs, graphics, videos, and logos on this website belong to the clinic or to the companies that license them to us. Federal copyright and trademark law protect this material. Sharing a link to one of our pages is always welcome. Reproducing the pages themselves requires our written consent.

Website Accuracy
We review our pages periodically, but regenerative medicine research changes fast, and an article written a few years ago may not reflect newer studies. Pages can also go offline for maintenance, load slowly, or contain typos. Nothing on the site carries a promise, stated or implied, that it is complete, current, suited to your circumstances, or free of third-party rights claims. Where Hawaii law lets a business disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, we disclaim them for this website.
Limits on Our Responsibility
As far as Hawaii law allows, the clinic, its physicians, and its staff limit what they owe you for problems caused by the website itself. We are not responsible for losses that follow indirectly from using the site or from being unable to reach it, such as lost time, lost files, or missed opportunities. This limit covers the website only. It has no effect on our professional duties when we treat you, and it does not remove any protection Hawaii’s consumer protection statute, HRS Chapter 480, gives you.
Your Responsibility for Misuse
If you break these terms or misuse the site, and someone else then sues or makes a claim against the clinic because of what you did, you will reimburse the clinic for the reasonable legal costs and any amount it has to pay.
Resolving Disputes
Hawaii law applies to these terms. If you have a concern about the website, please call or write to us first, since most problems can be settled with a conversation. A claim that cannot be settled that way belongs in the state courts of the Third Circuit on Hawaii Island or in the federal district court in Honolulu.

Updates and Partial Invalidity
